The 2010 Secondary
Competition Winners

The 2010 Secondary Competition was a huge success and we'd like to thank all pupils who participated as well as all the staff who organised the entries. Well done!

500 2nd Prize Awarded to:

Ballymena Academy, County Antrim
Their pupils' work featured in our 2010 regional anthology Northern Ireland.

250 3rd Prize Awarded to:

King's High School for Girls, Warwickshire
Their pupils' work featured in our 2010 regional anthology The Midlands.

Our Head of English, Ms Bradbury, tells me that the money will be put towards Key Stage 3 poetry texts. We are delighted that our girls have been awarded 3rd prize. You might like to know that this was announced in our end of term presentation assembly this morning so the whole school is aware of this wonderful achievement. Thank you for all your help.

Congratulations to the 5 pupil winners of our 2010 competition! Although the level of creativity of work submitted for the competition was high we finally managed to select 5 lucky winners!
