A Pocketful of Rhyme
Competition Winners

Congratulations to Court House Junior School in Maidenhead who won 1st prize of £1,000 in our national poetry competition, A Pocketful of Rhyme. Their pupils’ poems were published in ‘A Pocketful of Rhyme Berkshire & Surrey’. (school picture below)

Hundreds of schools nationwide entered the competition throughout 2006, which resulted in over 200 regional books being published. Jayne Williams-Pick (English teacher) is delighted with her school’s win and has told us the prize money will be spent on resources later in the school year.
