Nature’s Magic

As I saw a little bug
Sitting on a leaf.
I wondered if it had
Any sharp teeth.
As I picked him up, I told him I wasn’t scared,
I whispered to him to show I really cared.
He wasn’t quite near
And I couldn’t see clear.
Mum called for me
To come in for tea,
I put him by the gate
And told him to wait.
But he scuttled away,
So I was alone to play.
