The Lonely Sea

Today the sea feels so lonely so she tries to hug the rocks
But the rocks are unfeeling, just like ice blocks.

All golden, warm and welcoming, is the comforting sand
The sea reaches out her unwanted, wet cold, salty hand.

She sadly retreats and thinks, does anyone love me today?
'Wait!' said a voice. 'You are loved, so please don't go away.'

It was the fish, the creatures and the seabed too.
'Don't ever leave us; we'd be extinct without you.'
