Goodbye

I'm in the car looking around, seeing the lights shine. I see skyscrapers and buildings, I take a nap when I can for the journey will be long. I open my eyes as I shudder from the cold. I might not see him again, my last thought about him might wander off and disappear. My heart pounds, I don't want him to leave. And soon I find out that I am drifting off to sleep. I wake up and see that we are approaching the airport. It breaks my heart as I think about him. 'Goodbye Grandad,' I say.
