Scotland is the amazing place

Where I like to feel the wind in my face,

The mountains are high and have purple heather,

But that doesn't mean we have good weather,

There are evergreen forests and lochs so deep,

And streams and rivers where salmon leap,

I stay in a house that is big and old,

With a wood fire burning to keep out the cold,

When I open the curtains I see grazing deer,

I can hear the waterfall loud and clear.

The Applecross road goes over the top,

Zigging and zagging, take care not to drop.

There are steep sandy dunes on Applecross beach,

The tops so high they seem out of reach,

I learned how to sail in Lochcarron this year,

I enjoyed it a lot and didn't feel fear,

This holiday feels like it's only just begun,

And you have to agree,

I've had so much fun!
