Hair-Bandoned

It took me fifteen years to get this big; now you want to cut me? I have been embedded on your scalp since you were born. We have stuck together through trials and tribulations; we survived through the rain, we made it through the mud. I even protected your scalp from sunburn! So, why have you abandoned me? Our love was special, we were unstoppable until those evil, brutal, victimising clippers took a hard blow to my body which released me from the bond which we once had. Now I lie on the salon floor being swept away in darkness.
