In The Titanic

I wake with a start. Deafening shrieks slice through the air. I sprint down the hall, feeling as if I'm going uphill. I hear rushing water as I open the doors to the deck. Hail falls like glass shards piercing my skin. I look into the moonlit sea, flooded with people, their arms flailing. People scream as others board the last lifeboat. I'm too late... The Titanic splits with a thunderous roar. I'm hurled off, cries of pain all around me. Water hurtles over me. I feel it flooding into my lungs as I sink into the icy depths...
