35th Birthday 35 Book Challenge T&Cs
Read 35 books in a year, send in your completed 35 Book Challenge Form for the chance to win a ÂŁ35 National Book Token! - One ÂŁ35 National Book Token will be awarded to one winner
- Winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries
- To be eligible, a complete '35th Birthday Book Challenge' form must be received by the closing date, either by email ([email protected]) or via social media
- Closes Friday 1st January 2027 at 10am
- The winner will be contacted by email or direct message
- One entry per person
- UK entrants only
- Young Writersâ decision on the winner is final, no correspondence will be entered into

35th Birthday Golden Ticket T&Cs
- One Golden Ticket will be awarded randomly to one customer order per month from 1st Jan to 31st Dec 2026.
- Receiving a Golden Ticket entitles the winner to a ÂŁ35 e-voucher of their choice
- For the Golden Ticket winner to claim their prize they must email a photo of their Golden Ticket to [email protected] by the deadline on the ticket ensuring their unique reference number is clear in the photo
- The Golden Ticket prize is for Young Writers UK customers only
- Young Writersâ decision on the recipients is final, no correspondence will be entered into
- No cash alternative
- The winnerâs name may be announced on social media or in marketing materials
- Young Writers will never ask winners for bank or card details, please be aware of fake accounts/scammers
- If you are a Golden Ticket winner, by claiming your prize you accept these terms and conditions
Design A Bookmark Competition T&Cs
- Young Writersâ Design a Bookmark competition is open to individuals based in the UK.
- Entrants must be aged between 5 and 18 years old at the time of entering.
- Only one entry per person.
- Bookmark design to incorporate the theme of âreading and writingâ.
- Designs must be on Young Writersâ template and sent with a completed entry form.
- Entries must be received by 31st August 2026. Entries received after this date will not be accepted.
- Entries should be posted to: Young Writersâ Design A Bookmark, Remus House, Coltsfoot Drive, Peterborough,
- PE2 9BF. Young Writers is unable to confirm receipt of any entries. Scanned entries can be emailed to [email protected]. Please do not send photos as the quality will not be good enough for printing.
- 1st prize is awarded in each category: 5-10 and 11-18. Each winner receives a goody bag and their design will be made into a real bookmark given away to thousands of pupils.
- Young Writers will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any entries and entries will not be returned.
- Entries not on the 210x65mm template cannot be entered. Entry forms can be photocopied.
- AI generated images will not be accepted, the work must be the entrantâs own original creation.
- The judgesâ (Young Writers) decision is final and, regretfully, no correspondence can be entered into.
- No cash alternatives to the prizes will be offered.
- Proof of postage will not be taken as proof of entry.
- Employees of Young Writers and members of their immediate family can enter the competition but are not eligible to win.
- Copyright on all entries submitted will remain with the individual creators, except in the case of the 2 winners in which case Young Writers will require the assignment of the copyright. By entering the competition you acknowledge and agree that, in the event you are chosen as a winner, the copyright of your submitted work will pass to Young Writers.
- Young Writers reserve the right to display any of the entries on their website and social media, regardless of whether they are a winning design or not. Copyright will be accredited to the creator.
- Young Writers reserve the exclusive right to inform the media of all results and details of the competition, including the names of the winning creators.
- By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to have accepted the rules and terms & conditions of the competition.
