My First Acrostic

Closing Date: Friday 18th October 2019

The perfect way to introduce your pupils to poetry writing this term, as well as helping you get to know them better. An acrostic is a poetic form that challenges pupils to be creative, expressive and immerses them in fun!

Use the bright, engaging entry form and planning sheet alongside the online lesson plan to captivate and motivate your pupils to plan and write their very own All About Me acrostic. From family, friends, hobbies and pets to food, places, books, idols and their culture, there is so much to inspire your little poetry stars.
