Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
by J.K. Rowling
Author: J.K. Rowling
I love this book so much! Lots of things happen in it and it is so much better than the films. You get to know all of the secrets that you have been waiting to know for ages! The films miss so much of the book out, which is very disappointing.
The main characters have very different personalities which add to the story and make the story even more exciting. Hermione is very smart and pretty (but sometimes bossy!!) and Ron has a very good sense of humour, but you never expect a character like him to get so angry. And that really adds to the story because you don't expect it. Harry Potter is a very nice boy and has a very determined mind to defeat Lord Voldermort, but also cares about his friends.
In the story, Harry Potter and his friends are trying to destroy Lord Voldermort by finding and destroying all of Lord Voldermort's Horcruxes. But Harry's friends start to drift away as the quest of finding and destroying Horcruxes is gradually getting less realistic. They face all of Lord Voldermort's followers during the book and then everyone faces death in the War of Hogwarts. Nowhere is safe.
I liked all of the book because the way J.K Rowling writes never lets you get bored and you just want to keep reading. The story line is A-MAZ-ING! My favourite part is when Harry manages to find all of the Deathly Hallows and gets to see all of his family before he may take his final breath. In this book, there wasn't anything that I didn't like! The story was very tense and very dark in places and I really felt excited for the characters when they found something to aid them on their adventures.
There are a lot of funny bits in this story, but as this is Harry Potter of course there are scary bits! The story really made me feel like I wanted to live in Harry's world and that I had to just keep on reading. I learnt from this story that your choices, friendship and bravery are so much more important than abilities and cleverness.
