by Allan Boroughs
Author: Allan Boroughs
Explosive plot, character developments and heart-warming relationships, all packed into a dystopian future - what more could you want from a book? Despite the fact that like most novels, it was slow to read at first, Ironheart immerses you further and further into its dark and original world. Even if you do find yourself thinking it a little cliched in terms of setting, the slippery slope that is its gripping plot will be sure to have you hooked till the very end.

Boroughs' style of writing should grow on you as you progress through the book, as what first may seem like a very concise and perhaps plain was of putting things, later becomes a useful utility in coping with the fast-paced nature of the plot. There is also a fine line between good and bad characters in many instances, which is always interesting to see.
I do recommend reading this book, because though it may never go on to become a significant piece of literature, it is certainly an enjoyable and immersible read that will most likely leave you wanting more.
