Fracture
by Megan Miranda

Author: Megan Miranda
RRP: £6.99

The philosophical stories presented in this book are extremely influential towards teenagers. The main character, Delaney, experiences a trauma in which leaves her drawn to people who are dying. She does not realize this to start with but when she understands that people of whom she is drawn to are dying, she starts to understand her condition.

However, because she knows that these people will die she is drawn into helping them. The instinct inside her wants to help people to survive just like she did. Throughout the book she starts to realize that she can not do anything to change the inevitable how ever much she tries.

This book deals with the traumatic experiences of life, love and loss. The fact in which that there is a hidden love story behind it furthermore presents the idea of a realistic book. This book could easily fit into real life and teaches teenagers that even though you may not be able to save someone you can still help.

The first person presented in this book is very good and the plot is got into straight away. This is a book that once you start reading it you can not put down.

A must read for teenagers!
