The Fault In Our Stars
by John Geeen
Author: John Geeen
The Fault In Our stars is an amazing, very moving book about a young teenage girl diagnosed with lung cancer. After her mother convinces her to attend a local support group, Hazel Grace meets a charming young boy called Augustus Waters, or Gus as he comes to be known. Gus has a rare form of bone cancer but is now in remission.
Semra Worrall (14)
Hazel and Gus experience a roller-coaster ride of love, sadness and ultimately romance on the search for Peter Van Houten, the author of 'An Imperial Affliction', both Hazel and Gus' favourite book. However, after Gus reveals some devastating news to Hazel and both their worlds are crumbling around them, ultimately will their love be enough?
If you enjoy young adult books, full of witty humour and heartbreaking events that will stay with you for a while after, this book is perfect for you. Expect to laugh, cry and smile throughout this masterpiece by John Green. I highly recommend this book.
