Welcome To Nightvale
by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor

Author: Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor
RRP: £8.99

'Welcome To Night Vale' is based upon the popular podcast of imaginative mysteries of appearances and disappearances, which looks at the ways in which we all struggle to find ourselves, no matter where we come from. The premise of Night Vale is that you, the listener, have tuned into the community announcements of a rural radio station in the American south-west. Except this community isn’t like any other. As your radio presenter, Cecil Palmer, announces the week’s agenda, you realize that you are in a place where every conspiracy theory is true and how creatures and concepts from cosmic horror form everyday measures.

This book can be described as both unusual and eye-opening. It shows us that you have to understand the surreal, with the aim of embracing reality.

I would highly recommend this book to 15+. For anybody who is a fan of the podcasts by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor, then they would without a doubt, love the weird yet incredibly wonderful works of this novel.
