Behind Closed Doors
by B A Paris

Author: B A Paris
RRP: £7.99

It is absolutely stunning how each page entices you in. This book is very unpredictable which made it all the more of an adventure to read. I couldn't put it down once I started.

The writer, B A Paris, switches from past to present, indicating which is which through different chapters. It's a complex way of writing but by doing this the book has presented the story nicely.
The ending was my favourite part as it held the most suspense.

The book as a whole defies the most basic expectations, therefore proving you can't judge a book by its cover. While reading this I must say my favourite character was Esther, she seemed to be the only one who wasn't trapped by the perfect façade which hid the truth and was Grace's only true friend.

Although the structure of the story is not as an average book with: the start, climax, problem then solution, I must say it is wonderfully written to keep you engaged with what is happening throughout the entirety of it. However, it is done so cleverly that it leaves you in suspense wondering what is going to happen next, so much so that you won't want to put the book down until it is finished.

I highly recommend this book to anyone but more to those who enjoy more descriptive literature with advanced vocabulary.
