Characters- Nikki J. Maxwell, Brandon, Mackenzie Hollister, Zoey, Chloe and Mr Zimmerman
Summary-When Nikki Maxwell discovers that her arch-nemesis, Mackenzie, has started writing a gossip column for the school newspaper she's worried that Mackenzie might be about to reveal some secret info about Nikki's crush, Brandon, that she knows he won't want the whole school to find out about. To keep an eye on what Mackenzie's up to, Nikki decides to join the newspaper too, and somehow ends up working as the advice columnist, Miss Know-It-All. At first it's fun to answer all the letters from the kids at school, but when Miss Know-It-All's inbox is suddenly overflowing with pleas for guidance, Nikki feels in need of some help herself. Fortunately she has BFFs Chloe and Zoey on her side ...and at her keyboard!
My favourite character- My favourite character is Jessica even though she is not a main character. Jessica was not really part of the story but when her part did come it was fun to read. She was working in the school office only one hour a day but she made it her home.
Experiences- I think I have a roll like Chloe. My best friend has a friend who is a bit nosy and interfering. They do not have a good relationship. Because Chloe dressed up as a cute bunny I think I am like her. I like animals and I love bunnies- they are so cute.
My favourite part- My favourite part is when Nikki gets her first letter as she is Miss Know-It-All. She was so excited and happy. She was just astonished. Also she was speechless and simply so ready to start her job.
My least favourite part- My least favourite part is when Nikki’s dad sells her job van just because one of my favourite characters left the entire story. It was a sad part of the story.
If I could change...- If I could change any bit of the story I would add in 2 more girls who bully Nikki but when Mackenzie is the leader. They would be in her team simply.
Recommendation- I would recommend this book to 6+ because it does have some tricky words in it. This book has been made for them. It is appropriate for 6+.
Stars- Five stars
