Eleanor and Park
by Rainbow Rowell
Author: Rainbow Rowell
Eleanor and Park is a book about two very different high school students. Eleanor, who has red hair and wears awkward clothes and Park, who wears band t-shirts, and reads comics. When Eleanor starts sitting by Park on the school she notices the comics he's reading and starts reading them over his shoulder. He starts leaving her comics and music. They're relationship grows closer but is still very believable.

The book is a lot more then what it seems to be based on. It has a lot of underlying problems and themes. I think this would be a very good books for teenagers. The book takes a turn and I really enjoyed the ending, I think either gender could enjoy this novel. It's dual narrative, and I really liked the way Rainbow Rowell told the story.
The book had some funny moments but also some upsetting moments. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone. I really liked the ending and I didn't excpect it at all. I liked Rainbow Rowells writing style and I liked how different the narratives were.
