Opal Plumstead
by Jacqueline Wilson

Author: Jacqueline Wilson
RRP: £6.99

I found the book, Opal Plumstead, very addicting. I couldn't put it down! This was because it was a love story, a sad story and a happy story all at the same time. The main character, Opal, is a 14 year old girl that goes to school and only has one friend. But when her father does something unspeakable, can Opal turn her life back around or will she be left without a home?

My favourite part of this book was when Opal finally found love. I like this bit because it is so romantic and happy. If I were to change anything, it would be the ending. I hate sad endings.

I recomend girls between the ages of 8 and 11 to read this book.
