The Accidental Prime Minister
by Tom McLaughlin

Author: Tom McLaughlin
RRP: £6.99

The Accidental Prime Minister is about a boy called Jo and his friend Ajay who wanted to save the park to get his mum's job back but somehow became Prime Minister. This book has crazy humour on every page. I loved the part where Ajay said, "You can wear pants on your head and sing baa baa black sheep". This book is amazing, perplexing and super cool.

I liked the part when Violetta, the Prime Minister's Deputy, smashed a phone on the wall not knowing it was hers. She tries her best to ruin things as she wants to be Prime Minister.
There are definitely lots of laugh out loud parts in this book.

Overall I recommend this book for boys and girls aged 7-11 years.
