Opal Plumstead
by Jacqueline Wilson

Author: Jacqueline Wilson
RRP: £12.99

Opal Plumstead is a book that I have absolutely enjoyed, because it is dramatic and it always comes to my heart when I read the sad bits.

The father of Opal, is in prision because he has being stealing money from work for the family, however no one knows about this stealing. Soon the police found out and sent him to court. The eldest sister Cassie (big sister of Opal) is the prettiest girl in the world now knows about it and is not as sad as Opal. The mother of cassie and Opal cries all day long because the father is now going to be sent to hard labour for so long that the family wont see him anymore....
