Under The Stars Of Normandy

Under the stars of Normandy
The waves attack the shores
They batter and thrash against the sand
And charge in groups of fours

Under the stars of Normandy
The blissful wind blows lightly
It whistles gently and sends us over
But never threatens to fight me

From seaside villages the enemy attacked
And men fell to the ground

Figures sprawled across the sand
Of brave men, shot dead

Under the stars of Normandy
The waves attack the shores
Like us the sand is battered and thrashed
And fall in groups of fours . - ...
