The prisoner was sick in the madness of his fever. Then a giant, gleaming statue towered over him. The grotesque figure had a huge pendulum swinging from its hands. The pendulum swung to and fro with an evil hiss. It ended in a razor-sharp blade and each slow sweep brought the blade a little lower. A little closer.
Scores of huge rats stared hungrily from the dark, creepy shadows, waiting to feast on the prisoner's butchered corpse. The deadly hissing blade skimmed his bare chest…
