Chanting in my head like a sacred hymn,
Burnt in the remnants of my decaying skin.
Broken pieces of self-esteem.
Scattered amongst charcoal embers of deceit.
Hurling insults like visible stones,
Tolerate your fear lurking in my soul.
Cut away all the silent ropes.
Used to extinguish any lasting hope.
Wrenching fear boring holes in my eyes,
Caught between love and illicit cult lies.
Jagged visions of red flesh.
Haunting me until my last breath.
