Happiness is a flower with petals of gold
Sadness a weed with leaves of old
Happiness is an oak tree with acorns of good
Sadness a spruce with bad, rotten wood
Happiness is a barrel, full of exotic drink
Sadness a dark spirit who cannot think
Happiness is a jolly feeling to feel
Sadness is depressing, hard as steel
Happiness and sadness are not alike
But you can bring them together with just one small strike.
