The Zoo

When I went down to the zoo
The animals sounded frightening
With a loud roar and a growl
They looked colourful and bright
And felt furry like my new towel
They smelt as wet and mucky as unwashed clothes
If you were cruel enough to eat them
They would taste meaty and as yucky as sweaty old shoes.
