She pierces the world with her hawk-like eyes,
All that she has seen has made her very wise.
She reads every face just like a book,
Making sure she always takes a good look.
When the light comes she swaps places with the sun,
And thinks that being invisible is so much more fun.
But when the dark comes she skips out with all her stars,
And they link arms all the way around Mars.
She is a meerkat, look out in a tree,
The whole of the world can she see.
With the stars she plays hide-and-seek,
All of them promise not to peek.
Behind the clouds she omits barely a glimmer,
Then off she goes with a wink and a shimmer.
