Room Of Mirrors

She saw it again. A dark looming shape inscribed vividly in her mind; deception edged neatly at the corners. The figure hung there, vulgar and shallow. Eyes sunk into the depths of its sockets; its dilated pupils looked intent. A monstrosity of horror glared at her. She was secluded, stood in her black leotard and tights, staring at the colossal mirrors surrounding her. She cowered into the corner. Pain seared through her body; fear coursed through her blood. The mirrors encased her like a nutshell; gleaming red with the horrors they portrayed. A body lay crippled on the floor.
