Sun and sand, sea and shore
I could never ask for more.
Looking out across the bay,
Wishing for a longer stay. My family holidays, watching everyone smile,
Feeling carefree and happy,
At least for a while.
Sat with my cousin, making castles on the beach,
Hoping the waves stay enough out of reach.
Choosing ice cream and sweeties,
Every day is a treat,
The sun drying, the water glistening on my feet.
Visiting the theme park
And seeing animals in the zoo,
My cousin's always hiding
And then shouting, 'Boo!'
Happy holidays with my family,
The good times we all share,
The amusements on the pier
And hot doughnuts at the fair.
I really love my holidays,
My family even more,
So both combined I feel like, I've won the highest score.
