Silver Resilience

She ran. Dodging fallen trunks as branches clawed at her arms. Blood soaked her
clothes. She stopped, desperate for breath. The memories from her old life cried for her
to keep going. She fell to the ground; slipping further into her murky past. The wind
ruffled her thoughts as she willed her doubts away. She closed her eyes as her hands
shook in fear. She felt a nudge against her shoulder and looked up into the silver eyes
of a wolf. Its eyes showed resilience, giving her a sense of hope and courage. She got
up and continued her journey.
