Eye Spy

I'm at my desk, my pencil shaping the contours of a pair of eyes. They stare back at me.
My salvation. Expulsion from art college awaits me if this drawing isn't exquisite. And it
is. It's unreal. I don't know how I have drawn something so alive. Why do I suddenly feel
I am being watched? Am I going crazy? The feeling's coming from the window. Wait...
the silhouette of a woman. This can't be. I am on the third floor. I draw the curtains. I
stare into the empty eye sockets of a woman screaming, 'You've stolen my eyes!'
