I opened my eyes. The tinkling of a music box played in the background. A frigid breeze made my skin prickle. My hands brushed against my clothes. Lace? Why was I wearing a lace dress? Barely seeing, I sat up, noticing a small mirror on the dressing table. Shakily, I picked it up. I gasped. Pale porcelain skin, scarlet lips, rouged cheeks. Confusion took over me. Where was I? A playroom? Suddenly, a husky voice spoke, paralysing me. 'Welcome to the doll house.'
