The darkness is so compelling, its glare is so cold that my solitary candle closes its eyes and falls into an ominous sleep. I awake to lavender twilight cascading down in waterfalls, a reassuring tremor jolts me to my senses. The Earth is too placid for a sanguine moon. Suddenly, the ethereal skies cave in; the clouds obscure my senses as they contemplate over who will consume me first - fear or oblivion. Blinded by the perpetual darkness, I am lost in time, condemned to an eternity of transition. I awake. My Prince Charming greets me with another dose of morphine…
