Theseus And The Minotaur

Fierce, savage and cruel creature
The Minotaur was hungry for death
Its fiery, red eyes sent people running away at the tiniest glance
Its razor tip horns could cut a diamond as easily as cutting through a banana
Its fire-breathing nostrils could engulf a city in flames

For years, it stayed in an intricate maze
Living on children who danced till they died
But all that time
It never knew
A hero would emerge
That would send it to its grave

Theseus, son of Aegeus, was the one who held the daring fate
He made his way through the labyrinth to where the beast resided
And ripped off one of its horns, turning it into deadly weapon
Weapon of fate used to stab the savage between its eyes
Killing the creature

To this day the legend of Theseus and the Minotaur remains
And the bravery of Theseus will forever be remembered.
