Rain On The Planets

R aging wind, stormy sky
A nd no glimpse of the birds that fly
I n the sky as black as coal
N ow can I see for my soul

O n the day the lightning strikes
N earing the meandering hikes

T rudging on the moonlit lane
H e questioned whether he was sane
E nraged, the lightning stuck the trees

P rising the branches into the seas
L ight escaped through the clouds
A nd revealed beneath the shrouds, the
N ew dawn filtering rapturously
E mbracing the ravaged scenery
T his was a view to behold
S erene at last, so bold!
