The Christmas Spider

Every winter, the Christmas Spider made its unusual web of fairy lights. The spider's favourite food was moths, it would go to any lengths to capture them. The cheeky spider used the web to attract moths to eat. Moths found the lights irresistible. One day the moths got annoyed, so one brave Luna moth decided to trick the spider. He cut the wire of the lights and as the spider travelled his web searching for food, electric sparks caught his leg and stunned him. The spider felt very sorry for himself and from that day forward he ate only tasty bees.
