The woman stopped in her tracks. It couldn't possibly be happening again. She had been leaving work as usual. It was December 2014 but suddenly, as she looked down, she was dressed in Victorian clothing. The streets were cobbled and horses pulled carriages. The smell of roasting chestnuts filled her nostrils. It was still December, but 125 years earlier. She had touched her grandmother's brooch by accident. Why hadn't her grandmother warned her about this before she died? It happened at the most inconvenient of times. Which century would she end up in next?
