All Hallow's is the night to fear
When everything spooky is near.
Bony fingers stretch and creak
And the howling wolf can now speak.
Ghosts and witches ride the night sky
Zombies and ghouls fill the air with their cry.
Knock, knock, knock is that my door?
Do I open it or hide in the dark on the floor?
I creep over to the window draped with a curtain
Where I see a shadow I think it's a person.
My hand now upon the door handle
Lit only by the glow of one small candle
My heart is thumping louder and louder
I turn the handle and . . .
