The Autumn

Leaves rustling in the dark, frosty air,
Falling like a feather preparing for a smooth landing on the cold, hard ground,
Khaki branches tilt downwards like witches' fingers,
Trees sway in icy blasts as crimson leaves shudder,
Hibernating hedgehogs slumber silently,
Sunless skies mask the inside world.
