Under The Sea!

I'm all cosy, tucked up in bed

Remembering what my mummy said

'Dream of wonderful things,

Of soaring birds with bright coloured wings'

Deeper and deeper I fall asleep

But instead I dream of the sea deep

Of sharks and dolphins and bright coloured fish

Their tails and fins going swish, swish, swish

And then from the deep, deep, deep

Comes a submarine that disturbs my sleep

Faces smiling at the round portholes

Taking pictures of the fish swimming in shoals

I notice a boy 1, 2, 3

And then I realise that one of them is me!

Beep, beep, beep and a kiss on the cheek

Then I hear my mummy speak

'Rise and shine,

It's breakfast time

Get up quick, you don't want to be late,

Your toast is getting cool on the plate.'
