Face-To-Face With The Moon

I had the most

Awesome dream,

That made me scream,

And that got me thinking

About my extraordinary dream.

I put my suit on,

And in a flash I was gone,

The rocket sprang to life

But I had to fly.

I was one hundred

Billion feet from the ground,

I knew I would get there soon

And at once I reached the moon.

The moon stared at me,

And I stared at him,

But he stayed in the sky,

Like a pearl-white marble.

I hope the moon stays,

And never goes away,

He watches me in my sleep,

But I hope the moon

Is the treasure that the sky decides to keep.
