I say goodnight to my brother and close my bedroom door.

I bounce into bed rip off my socks and toss them onto the floor.

I gently close my eyes and think about what I'll dream,

Then finally I'm asleep and also in a new scene.

But something is definitely different,

I can feel it in my spine.

I look around and examine, these dry trees of pine.

Then I realise that my hands have turned into paws ever so foul.

And my voice has changed completely, into a strange croaky howl!

Suddenly, I hear shouting coming from the mouths of angry men!

I run into a cave which looks like a wolf's den.

No! Was I a wolf?

It just couldn't be true!

Then anxiously and uncontrollably, I howl at the moon.

Oh no! They've found me!

My heart starts to pound.

I have no idea what to do, and my head spins round and round.

Finally I realise that I have been shot!

I don't know what's going on, but I know that it hurts a lot!

Their evil eyes glow, I close my own in dread.

Suddenly, I wake up to find I'm safe at home in bed!
