Hope was fading, fast. My feet dragged me up the rocky path, I opened the door to a place like no other. All hope that had stayed inside me had run away now. The thick smoke rose from the machines, filling my eyes with tears. Blank faces were on the workers as they were forced to complete monotonous tasks. I couldn't believe this was what I was destined to be. To look at the innocent children climbing under dangerous machines of the mill was heart-splitting. My future was set, I'd become a nobody...
