Massive man-eating monster in my closet staring right at me
Old and wrinkly, the monster is as big as can be
Nerve-tingling noise when it drags its claws along the door
Silently in the corner I'm curled up on the floor…
Terrified - I curl up into my bed
Every time I try to sleep I see him in my head
Roaring thunder and lightning outside. I say, 'I've had enough.'
So I open up the closet door and he vanishes into a cloud of puff.
