The Definition Of Dreams

Dreams are the magical images that make us unique

They're the timekeepers of our sleep

Taking you places wherever you seek

Making you speculate about the weird and wonderful

Good dreams are like hot chocolate, making you warm inside

When your bedroom's dark and your enchantments hide

The fantastical ideas where rules abide

Or feel the wind on your face on an everlasting slide

Bad dreams are the spectres that fright your night

The never-ending darkness that blinds your eye

Choruses whispering, your body freezes

An arm seizes your shoulder, you open your mouth, then bang!

Once in a while you have that dream

About swirling, twirling vortexes swallowing you up

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! You travel down

The frantic colours intoxicate your senses

Travelling down into a bottomless pit

Dreams are the magical images that make us unique

They're the timekeepers of our sleep
