Tick-tock. That dull sound made my heart throb with pleasure. Some would say that same noise was mundane. Oh how wrong they were! That beautiful, wondrous noise had woven itself into my brain - until it festered into something of a dark, depraved craving. During midnight, I'd listen - so carefully to the soothing melody from my chorus of clocks. But it wasn't enough. Tick. I thrashed. Tock. I screamed. Tick. I foamed. Frantically dragging myself to a window, I set my gaze upon a young woman adorning that magical instrument. I froze... before slowly grinning. No more ticking for her.
