Chalky hands and sparkly leotards,
Gymnasts jumping everywhere,
Gymnasts flying through the air.
Feeling and swinging on the shiny, metal bar.
Parents watching from very far.
Higher and higher, I can hear the air blow,
Coaches' voices getting quieter as I go.
Water I taste when I am very hot,
Gulp it down fast or I won't get a lot.
Foam I can smell, now it's time for pit race,
Ready, set, banana,
Who will win the chase?
Lots of exercise to see and do,
Gymnastics is healthy for me and you!
