At the seaside I can see colourful tents
and sun umbrellas.
I can see busy seaside shops and a big harbour.
I can also see an old lighthouse
and a bucket and spade.
At the seaside I can hear bustling and laughing.
I can hear waves crashing on the rocks
and strong, loud wind.
I can hear the rides at the fair.
At the seaside I can taste salty fish and chips,
sweet ice cream with sauce and sweet, hard rock.
At the seaside I can smell salty fish and chips
and tingling sun cream.
At the seaside I can feel smooth, golden sand
between my toes.
I can feel smooth, hard rocks.
That is why I love the seaside.
