I can see huge, tall, swaying trees,
Thousands of waving green leaves.
I feel the spongy, damp, thick, soft, green tree moss.
I can hear birds chirping, in the distance a woodpecker working.
I can see rabbit holes under the bushes.
I hear squirrels rustling in the trees,
Collecting nuts for the winter freeze.
I can sense animals everywhere in nests and burrows.
I can smell blackberries fresh and ripe but
I won't pick them because they'll be the forest animals' tea tonight.
I can see wild strawberries like red jewels in a bush.
I can't resist, they taste yummy,
So I fill my tummy.
