Power Of Poetry Finalists Announced

The Power of Poetry is a poetry writing competition for young writers aged 11-18 years old. The 12 best poets from across the UK have been invited to create their words into a short film or slideshow - now they go head-to-head in a public vote to determine who will be The Power of Poetry Champion!

In October 2013, secondary school-aged pupils submitted their poems for regional poetry collections. Our Editorial team then chose the best poet from each region as a finalist. The finalists were invited to bring their poems to life by creating a short film or slideshow. The entries are now open to a public vote and the poet with the most votes wins an iPad and will be crowned The Power of Poetry Champion. The runners-up will each be awarded with a Kindle Fire HD.
